Have you ever jumped around your room, air guitaring to Metallica or had dreams of being the person playing the guitar by the fireside, not just listening in envy? Maybe you’ve bought a guitar and a couple of tab books, learned a few of your favourite songs and not had the confidence to pursue your rock star dreams because, let’s face it, the guitar is not as easy as it seems.
Even if you are a complete beginner without any previous experience, knowledge or even a guitar (yes, I can lend you a guitar!), I can help you to realise your dream by guiding you through the pitfalls and obstacles all new musicians face when learning the guitar.
Why choose Me?
I have over eight years’ teaching experience and over 20 years’ experience as a recording and performance artist. Not only can I teach you how to play the guitar, but I will teach you music theory, help to train your ear and develop performance skills.
If you are looking to break into the music industry, I can also help with the recording and production aspect as well as provide crucial information about the business from my own experience.
I cover a range of styles, including blues, metal, funk rock, jazz, country and folk.
Not only am I based in central Birmingham, we can also carry out lesson via Skype, so no matter where you are in the world, we can jam.
